Visual illustrators, in the past, were never ever mentioned in the same breath as traditional or fine artists, and they have consistently came second best in comparison with traditional graphic designers. Times have changed, and the exciting and fresh art of illustration is now firmly recognized as an art, and is gaining constant popularity, especially with young, adventurous and creative artists.
This post is a look at the portfolio of such an artist. His name is Pete Joisin (aka Blurburger). Enjoy.

About Pete Joisin aka Blurburger
Pete Joison is a freelance graphic designer who lives in Melbourne, Australia. His work definitely focuses on the more illustrative side of design, as his Blurburger site proves. “I set up Blurburger years ago to put all the bits and pieces that I did between jobs. We all need a creative outlet.” he said. “Making my art into desktop wallpapers and giving them away has also been a good way to attract clients.”
